The respondents are composed of students and still have a problem regarding how they will manage and do their academic tasks, especially now that we adapt to the new normal where technology is growing a course. For the sixth week, We are to incorporate our learnings from a lecture series into our blog. A lecture presented by Ms. Geisha Mae Getuaban of USTP entitled; Introduction to Technology Business Incubation, and Mr. Kit Laurence Nacua founder of Ehatid who also shares his Start-up journey.
What is TBI? As Ms. Geisha said, TBI short for Technology Business Incubator, which focused on supporting startups business which uses modern technologies as the primary means of innovation. As Ms. Giena stated, startups are easy to make yet also easy to fail as many don’t have a good idea, creating a product that doesn’t solve anything, and a lousy team resulting in them failing. So here, hows an incubator enter the scene; an incubator will help your startup idea possible. CDO Bites, located at Misamis oriental, offers many programs for its incubatee like spark track, Beacon Demo day, and Roadshow.
Mr. Kit Laurence inspires us listeners about how he and his sister further build-up Ehatid, a delivery platform service. He also shares how a Business Model Canvass shape his business and how being an incubatee becomes a great help in making his idea possible. His experience much excites me, knowing that at some point before we start this activity, creating a delivery app is one of our options. Together with my groupmates, we visualize creating a delivery app targeting families’ household as the primary customer. Learning from a senior, I understand why they decided to focus first on surviving rather than following their vision, where they partner into a supermarket. It’s very modern how their teams work, especially his sister, who manages the marketing department. It shows how we marketer plays a significant role in starting a business being the business’s frontier. Starting a business is not easy, yet they manage to make their ideas possible, especially now that their company faces significant economic and environmental problems caused by the pandemic.
The Universal Stylus Touch Pen A competitive, efficient, and practical to use, plus has a safety feature type of Pen. At the most superficial level, there are right-handed people, and there are those who favor the left-hand, and instruments and tools such as scissors have been adapted to cope with the demands of both.
In terms of the product specification, the Universal Stylus Touch Pen will use aluminum as the primary material; the Pen will also have a net weight of 12g (no clip), 9.8g (with clip), a size of 126mm x 9mm(no clip),132mm x 8.8mm(with clip) this will differ depending on the design. We are also in a pandemic; the Pen presents the most comfortable and safest way to interact with most applications on touch tables and displays, especially if the students own one.
Before we decided to change our product, we pick from the products and services that we have proposed. The first one is a grammar checking site; the second one is about the student loan; the third one is a delivery platform, and now the latest idea that we came up with is this stylus pen with our respondents with a total of 32 presently. Our respondent changes problems, having a majority of the paperwork, and that is how we end with The Universal Stylus Pen.
The Lecture series prompted ideas that will help me grow my future business if ever I decided to have one. If ever given a chance to join those activities administered by a Business Incubator, I would love to join even just as a spectator.
