MANILA, Philippines — The administration of President Rodrigo Duterte has accomplished more opposed to the combined terms of former Presidents Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Benigno S. Duterte has shown a satisfactory performance with an HDI value of 0.712 over the three years of Duterte’s presidency, putting the country in the high human development segment. The Aquino administration with a medium HDI of 0.654 as of 2013.

Citizen’s Purchasing Power

The value of a currency expressed concerning the number of goods or services that can be purchased by a unit of money is the buying power of the Citizen Purchasing Power. In 2018, the Philippines’ purchasing power parity (PPP) was 19.6 Local Monetary Unit (LCU) (LCU). It is rising at an annual average rate of 3.43%. However, the year 2013 was 18.43 LCU, rising at an average annual rate of 3.65 percent per foreign dollar.

Supporting Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Support for entrepreneurship and innovation With the Philippine Innovation Act, Duterte aims to improve MSMEs. President Rodrigo Duterte signed the Philippine Innovation Act to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) become a market-wide neighborhood. The new measure also establishes the National Innovation Council (NIC), which seeks to establish and help support the government’s innovation strategies and goals. The NIC is essential for expanding the National Innovation Agenda and Strategy Plan, which can “set the vision and long-term innovation goals of the country.”

One of the papers will also serve as a guide to developing the governance of innovation. With the GO Negosyo act, Aquino aims to improve MSMEs. President Benigno S. Aquino III signed the 2013 Go Negosyo Act, which aims to encourage business simplicity and facilitate MSMEs’ access to services. The Go Negosyo Act aims to strengthen micro, small and medium,-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to more additional job openings within the country. 113 Go Negosyo centers are being introduced nationally, primarily to promote this. For their first three years of presidency, these two Presidents did an outstanding job; both wish better Philippines. Overall, the Duterte presidency is witnessing a greater ecomore extraordinaryoom. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who won a landslide victory in 2016 and will be president until 2022, is helping to improve the Philippines’ economy.
